Ana Maria Cárdenas is a dedicated legal professional with a strong background in public interest law and community organization. Since 2020, she has been with The Legal Aid Society, where she drafts and reviews government agency applications, prepares affidavits for court submissions, and conducts research on critical issues, including LGBTQ rights in Guatemala.
Prior to her legal career, Ana Maria served as Senior Program Manager at the Interreligious Foundation for Community Organization, where she managed large-scale speaking engagements, developed bilingual marketing materials, and oversaw international project budgets. Her experience also includes a role as Personal Assistant to the President of BlueWaveNJ, where she managed high-profile events and maintained key relationships with government officials and donors. Ana Maria holds a J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law and a B.A. from Montclair State University. She is proficient in Spanish and skilled in various legal and marketing tools.
